EXECUTIVE CHEF JAY SILVA
Silva grew up in Malden and on Cape Cod, literally having a taste for the region's fresh-caught fish, oysters and clams at an early age. A graduate of Newbury College's Culinary program, Silva trained in some of the city's finest kitchens, including The Boston Harbor Hotel, Ritz Carlton Boston, Pigalle, Sage and Pho Republique. Known for his keen eye, passion and his commitment to sourcing the best of ingredients, Silva is delighted to focus on regional cuisine at Bambara. "I know, since I moved away and came back again, that natives never tire of fresh seafood, meats and vegetables grown locally. And guests who come to visit the area are looking for the best in our regional cuisine, so I'm delighted that is part of our mission at Bambara."
